By downloading or using BoulderBuilder (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use.

The Service

BoulderBuilder is a climbing training tool that helps you log sends and visualize your performance as a pyramid. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

Subscriptions

• Some features require a paid subscription (“BoulderBuilder Pro”).
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
• Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.

Your Data

Your private climbing log is stored on your device. If you choose to use Friends, the profile, climb details, photos and interactions you explicitly submit are stored by our online service. Sharing does not back up or synchronize your complete climbing log. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups if desired. See our Privacy Policy for sharing, retention and deletion details.

Friends and Shared Content

Friends requires Sign in with Apple and an approved profile. You may submit content only if you have the right to share it, including any photos of other people. Approved profiles can be found through username search and invitations. Posts are shared with accepted friends; private challenges are shared with their participants. You choose whether to include a gym name. Challenge completion is self-reported and is not independent verification of a climb.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content to Friends, you grant BoulderBuilder a non-exclusive license to store, process, review and display it only as needed to operate Friends and provide the sharing you choose, including safety review. This license does not permit use of your content for advertising. Removing content or deleting your account ends this permission except for the limited storage and processing needed to complete deletion or retain records as described in our Privacy Policy.

Profile text, posts, photos, comments and challenge descriptions undergo human review before other people can see them. Review is not immediate. We may reject or remove objectionable content and suspend accounts that misuse the service. Do not submit harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, sexually explicit or illegal content, spam, impersonation, or another person's private information without permission.

Use the Report and Block controls in Friends to report content or stop interactions. You can also contact support.boulderbuilder@gmail.com for safety reports or to appeal a moderation decision. Removing a friendship or deleting content cannot recall copies that another person already saved outside the app.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to interfere with the App’s normal operation

Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is”. Climbing is an inherently risky activity. BoulderBuilder does not provide training advice that replaces professional coaching or your own judgment. Use the information in the App at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of BoulderBuilder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
